One of the differences between Rhee Taekwondo and regular sports is that ⚽️ Sports have players 🏃‍♂️, Rhee Taekwondo has Students 🥋. This means we spend time each class teaching them to progress, learn and grow. Teaching life skills to win at life, not just scoring points to win a game 😀.

More than a sport, our traditional martial art aims to educate students in how to be a great person, wherever they go. Instead of competing to win a trophy that sits on a shelf, we challenge them to BECOME the trophy that can be seen whenever you walk into a room or onto a field. One thing we pride ourselves on is to not only teaching the physical side of a traditional martial art though to also sit the students down and give a short lesson on the behavioural/mental side of the Art. Discussing things like Respect, Discipline, Responsibility etc and why they’re important for them to develop to have a fuller and happier life helps them take the lessons they learn from us and apply them into other sports, family relationships and school 😀
