GUITAR OF THE WEEK
Chad Morgan OAM not only had arguably the longest career ever in Australian music, he also had a love affair with Martin guitars. And this is the very first one he ever owned and played on stage.
He bought this Martin D-18 in 1962, 2nd hand from a friend when it was only a few months old and it saw stage time in '62 and '63, when he bought his next Martin. He never let this one go though. It has been serviced by Martin technicians throughout its lifetime and is in fantastic shape for its age. The original pickup was removed many years ago and hasn't been replaced. The sustain on this acoustic is unbelievable!
This 1962 Martin D-18 is being sold on behalf of the Morgan family and is the last of Chad's guitars we have for sale. It is certified as genuine by Chad Morgan Jr.
For this week only, it's is reduced from $8,499 to just $7,999.

Shout out to all involved with the Bundaberg Eisteddfod that got underway today and runs through to 29 July.
Part of day 1 was drums and percussion in a number of categories across around 6 hours with so many talented youth players showcasing their skills. Congrats to every participant today, you should all be proud!
