Happy faces painting and creating little masterpieces for their families or their scrapbook. Big thanks to Leah Hunt for making the lovely little painting aprons which have been such a success with all our children. Painting is very tactile and encourages the use of fine motor skills to strengthen their little muscles in fingers, hands and arms. Younger children take time as they need to be able to hold brush, are able to cope with the tactile experience of wet, cold paint and also if they show an interest. I like to start with the magnetic boards where they can hold, draw and then move on from there to big crayons and pencils. 🥰

We all experience times when we doubt ourselves and other's but it is so important to remember that from each experience we learn something and from this we will make the changes necessary in our lives to never let this experience happen again.

These beautiful DIY Cookie Kit was made by Huddy's beautiful Mum, Morgan and each child had the most amazing journey of being able to decorate their shortbread Christmas Cookies using the icing bags, eatable decorations and tools provided in each pack. What an amazing Lady and words cannot describe how much enjoyment the children had and even then had cookies to take home and decorate with family. Morgan you are an Angel and we adore you. Each child has their own little personality and are unique and individual. I believe that as we come together we harness these abilities, nurture and support their personalities and encourage their abilities and inabilities to allow them to grow at their own pace with support and love.

Outside is beautiful and now with the rain our grass will be greener and our trees will be lush. Outside is full of opportunities to play games, ride, climb, play ball games and for us as Educators to set up activities for each of our children to enjoy, have fun with friends and build happy memories.

Playdough is always fun and encourages little fingers to create, manipulate and form little works of art for their pleasure. I love to watch the children's faces as they concentrate on their work. ✨
