Not hard to pick the staff theme today! Lots of pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place every October to highlight the impact of the disease, promote early detection, and support ongoing research.
Early Detection & Prevention:
• Mammograms: Free screenings are available via BreastScreen Australia every two years for asymptomatic women aged 50 to 74.
• Breast Self-Checks: Familiarize yourself with your body's normal look and feel through regular checks, using guidance from resources like Breast Cancer Network Australia.
• Warning Signs: See a general practitioner promptly if you notice new lumps, skin dimpling, ni**le discharge, or unusual persistent pain.
