📚🎭 Book Week 2026 is Coming! 🎭📚

Book Week is just around the corner, and we're excited to celebrate a wonderful week of stories, imagination and literacy!

This year's theme is "Symphony of Stories", and we'll be bringing books to life with a week full of exciting literacy-based experiences, creative adventures, storytelling and plenty of fun.

Dress-Up Week: 22nd–28th August
Children are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character. They can join in for one day, two days, or even all five days—it's completely up to you!

We can't wait to see everyone's creative costumes and celebrate the joy of reading together. Thank you for helping us make this a memorable week for all our children.

🚓 What a Fantastic Police Visit! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming Senior Constable Brittany Duncan to Edenbrook, and what a fantastic experience it was!

The children loved meeting Brittany, watching the police vehicle and hearing the sirens, asking lots of questions, and learning about the important role police play in keeping our community safe. It was a wonderful opportunity to build positive connections with our community helpers while encouraging curiosity and learning through real-life experiences.

A big thank you to Senior Constable Brittany Duncan for taking the time to visit our service and create such special memories for our children. We truly appreciate your support and hope to see you again in the future! 💙🚔

Today our Kangaroo and Possum rooms came together to participate in the Annual National Simultaneous Storytime 📚🦘

This year’s book was Luna Roo, and the children absolutely loved joining in with the story alongside children all around Australia!

The experience encouraged a love of reading, listening, imagination, and learning together as a group. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and excited throughout the story.

Last Thursday we welcomed our mums, grandmothers and special people into our classrooms for our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea 💐

Thank you to everyone who came along and spent the afternoon playing, creating and sharing special moments with the children. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and beautiful connections throughout the service.

We also hope all our mums and special people had a lovely Mother’s Day on Sunday and enjoyed being celebrated for everything you do each and every day 💖

We’re proud to be ongoing partners of The Nappy Collective!
Their annual campaign is underway this month - Clean Bums for Little Ones - with a goal is to raise $100,000 and collect 500,000 nappies. If you have any disposable nappies that your little one has grown out of, please drop them into the donation box at our centre. The Nappy Collective accept clean, unused single and packs of nappies of any sizes. Local babies and families would truly appreciate your support 🩷
