Hey guys, are you all in the Humanity Unite Learning Hub Bundaberg group?

Ok everyone, let's get this party started!

We are on the lookout for a multitude of learning spaces to bring our collective vision and dreams to fruition. What I am asking may overlap into other groups such as LETS, Prepping etc. Please comment here letting us know if this is the case, so we can unify and become a strong and cohesive community ✌

All suggestions and offers welcomed for spaces to start:-

Sustainable planting of edibles and medicinals

Places to store bulk fresh produce, meat, dried goods and stores of other household products

Outdoor activities including camps (can't wait for survival camp!), horse riding, dirt bike riding, archery, possibly target shooting, any other adventure activities you can suggest

Nature Playgroup (It Takes a Village may already be onto this, to be investigated)

General meeting places for people of all ages to spend time together doing craft and leisure activities etc and also for kids to play/hang out and form organic friendships

Space for metalwork/welding and woodwork as well as turning recycled materials into projects

A tech hub for all ages and abilities

I need to go check my notes for other activities lol, but this is a start.

As previously stated, ALL ideas and feedback welcome here. This is an absolute safe space to share and provide helpful feedback. As with most pages, anyone deemed acting irresponsibly will be removed immediately.

Good afternoon everyone. My apologies to you all for not jumping on sooner - many community groups and projects starting at once, so many ideas for this space have been happening behind the scenes

Welcome to a new era in learning. We have the same values as Humanity Unite Bundaberg, building a strong, holistic community base and helping support each other.

At Humanity Unite Learning Hub, we have vision of catering for all ages, from playgroups, homeschoolers, supporting our youth from a young age right up to transitioning to employment or entrepreneurship, as well as mini courses for adults. We plan on welcoming people of all ages to take part in our community projects, including community gardens etc. There had been talk of canning, garden medicine and food gardening workshops at Friday meetings (10am at Alexandra Park gazebo) so we hope to incorporate these to be open to all ages that are interested.
