Congratulations to Abigail on receiving an A+ for her recent AMEB grade 8 exam. A fabulous result! She has been invited to perform at the AMEB High Achievers Concert in December!

“Receiving the award was a wonderful affirmation of my passion for music and dedication to teaching. It also recognised the significant influence we, as educators, have on our students and their families. While the award itself was an honour, the true privilege lay in meeting and connecting with the incredible people in Melbourne.”

Yamaha was looking for Australian piano teachers who are committed and passionate about music education. It supports both Yamaha's education advocacy program Off to a Great Start and the Australian Music Association's national ambition to engage more people in music-making.

What a fabulous few days in Melbourne at the Yamaha Break Out Award Event!
Workshops and sessions led by industry leaders as well as interviews with Tim Minchin and Nat Bartsch.
The Awards night was compered by the very sparkly Carly McDonald and presented by Masaaki Shibazaki - Managing Director, Yamaha Music Australia.
Networking with colleagues from across Australia was a real privilege and pleasure.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS are in order 🎉 We are excited to announce that our very own Liane Molewyk (director of Dalyellup Music Academy) is an offical winner of the 2024 Yamaha Teacher Award 🥳🎶 This award recognises Liane’s passion and commitment to music education, which we know has made an impact on many students’ and families’ lives over the years. Liane will be flying to Melbourne this school holidays (all-expense paid 🙌🏼) to receive the award and participate in unique professional development with special guests Tim Minchin, Carly McDonald and Andrea Keller. Congratulations Liane on this outstanding achievement.
