We are Marist.
Our Year 12 Retreat was a wonderful experience, blessed with beautiful weather.
The chance to disconnect from the everyday and come together as a cohort before embarking on their final semester as a group, provided many opportunities for reflection, growth and joy.
Hearing and sharing stories, and bridging from where we are to where we want to be using the five Marist characteristics, truly made Jesus known and loved.
We wish our Year 12s a wonderful final semester!

🏆🎶 The Bunbury Catholic College Music Department has had a fantastic few days at the Bunbury Eisteddfod!
Our Certificate III Music bands received incredible feedback from the adjudicator, with the Year 12 Band winning the Open Age Cover Song category, and our three Year 11 Bands placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their section.
We are also excited to share that the Year 12 Band was selected to perform at the Gala Concert on Saturday 20 June at 6:00pm! Tickets are $5 through the BREC Box Office.
Congratulations to all our performers, and thank you to the BCC community for your wonderful support. 🎵🏆

Delicious donuts were on the menu this morning for students achieving excellence in their academic pursuits, after they were recognised during assemblies for Years 9,10 & 12.

We had seven teams participating in the Bunbury Division of the Champion Schools Cup Netball Competition held in very cool but dry conditions at Hay Park today.
All of our teams competed very well, with four making the grand finals.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys and Senior Girls who won their grand finals and to our Junior Boys who competed in a thrilling grand final, which ran into overtime, and came away two point winners!
These three teams and our Intermediate Boys will qualify for the Elimination Day Finals to be held in Perth early in Term 3.

It was a day filled with energy, challenges and plenty of laughter when students stepped outside their comfort zones to take on the high ropes courses set among the towering trees of Ludlow Tuart Forest.
Students demonstrated outstanding initiative and resilience as they navigated the physical and mental obstacles at Forest Adventures; conquering the high ropes required strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication and teamwork. They encouraged one another to persist and succeed.
PE Teachers Michelle Crosby and Matt Frisina said it was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they tackled each course, making the experience both rewarding and memorable for all involved.

Our choir is simply the best.
Bunbury Catholic College Choir was selected as the recipient of the Overall Choir and Ensemble Choral Award at the Bunbury Eisteddfod.
The adjudicator specifically praised the choir's outstanding harmonies and musicianship. Congratulations on an outstanding performance!
This achievement was particularly impressive given BCC's choir consisted of just 12 students performing a ca****la, competing against choirs of up to 40 singers performing with accompaniment.
They received an outstanding 95 out of 100, recognising the exceptional quality of their performance under the direction of Helen Humphreys.
Music Teacher Mia Loock said the choir was an absolute pleasure to listen to and the win showed to the dedication of Helen and the students — all of whom quietly participate and diligently attend practice before school every Wednesday morning.
Principal Ben Priest said this was truly a great achievement and something we all should be proud of.
