Our Year 5 students have been loving their bush-based recreation sessions led by our Outdoor Recreation students. It’s been wonderful to see their excitement as they play, explore, and enjoy time in nature.
These activities also give our senior students valuable experience in leading group activities as part of their Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation studies. 🌿😊

Last week two of our students enjoyed a day at the BREC Dance Eisteddfod, soaking up the talent, energy, and creativity of the performing arts world! 💃✨
Watching students their own age perform was both inspiring and exciting, giving them plenty of ideas and motivation for their own Dance and Drama journeys.
We love providing opportunities for our students to explore their God-given gifts, build confidence, and connect with the wider arts community. 🎭

Celebrating Excellence -
Congratulations to two of our Secondary students Altian van den Berg Year 10 and Scott Day Year 8 on their selection in the Rugby WA U15 Regional Squad for 2026.
Altian began his rugby journey with Southern Lions before further developing his skills with ARKS in Perth. For the past two seasons, he has been a dedicated member of the South West Spirit Rugby Club, continuing to grow both his understanding and ability in the game. An enthusiastic all-round sportsman, rugby is clearly his passion. A versatile player who has taken on a variety of positions across the field, Altian currently plays as ho**er. His commitment, strong work ethic and determination to continually improve make him a valued member of his team.
Scott's rugby journey began at just four years of age with the Australind Barbarians before progressing to the South West Spirit Rugby Club as a teenager. Through years of dedication to the sport, he has developed into a talented and respected player, earning recognition through a number of club and representative achievements along the way, including 2025 South West Spirit U13 Most Valuable Player. His passion for rugby, and commitment to continuous improvement have contributed to his success both on and off the field.
This selection is a wonderful achievement for both young men and reflects the hard work, perseverance and commitment they have shown to their sport. We congratulate Altian and Scott on this exciting opportunity and pray that God will continue to guide and strengthen them as they represent the South West at the next level.

The first challenge of the $20 Boss Entrepreneurial Program is underway for our Year 10 Finance students. Armed with only limited resources and a strict time limit, students worked in teams to design and construct towers, putting their creativity, problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to the test.
This challenge highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation and thinking outside the box, key qualities of successful entrepreneurs. We look forward to seeing whats next!

Rainy days bring the best adventures! 🌧️💦
Our Kindy students loved exploring the “pond” in the Kindy riverbed, splashing, balancing, pouring and creating waterfalls while learning through play, wonder and laughter.
A beautiful reminder that some of the best learning happens in muddy boots and joyful moments.
