I LOVE coming here. It’s an important reset from the west. Coming here is like coming home, a remembering of ancient times and ancient practices.

Tuning into her magical spirit, generosity and patience. I’ve done so much yoga already, treated myself to a lot of massage, ecstatically danced and been drenched in blissful healing sound vibration, all before the start of my Bhakti immersion.

Heaven is a place on earth! It’s called Ubud!

✋YOGA STOPS TRAFFICK with Mars
Saturday, 11th March 2023
8am – 9.30am

Join Shala's Founder Mars Gossi for a 90 minute creative yoga flow infused with Indian music, ending with sound bath savasana, in honour of a wonderful cause that Mars holds dear to her heart.

Yoga Stops Traffick is a one-day global yoga event to raise awareness and funds for survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence and child marriage in India. Every body on every mat counts in the fight against human trafficking.

Please join us in the Shala and show your support. Minimum donation of $30, with all proceeds going directly to this important charity. Shala Yoga Bunbury will match every $30 ticket sold. If you’d like to donate more, you can do so on the day, either by card or cash.

Yoga Stops Traffic is particularly important to Mars, who was first introduced to their work back in 2014, whilst studying yoga in Mysore, India. She has participated in a number of the Yoga Stops Traffick flagship events in front of Mysore Palace, India, where hundreds of people gather together to practice yoga and raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking.

She has also visited the partner charity Odanadi Seva Trust, an orphanage outside of Mysore that supports and empowers so many children and women displaced from human trafficking, domestic violence and child marriage.
