Bunbury Senior High School P & C

Profits are used to benefit students in the school. The P&C also exists to nurture links between the school, parents and students, and the community.

The Bunbury Senior High School Parents and Citizens Association Incorporated (P&C) manages the operations of the school Uniform Shop and Cafeteria at Bunbury SHS and raises funds through other fundraising activities. The P&C also provides support to parent groups who wish to form subcommittees for fund raising purposes. Whilst in most cases the school will deal with any issues, the P&C is a place

where parents can seek appropriate advice and support on a variety of matters regarding their children attending Bunbury SHS. Current Executive Committee members are:

Executive Committee meetings are usually held week 3 of each school term and General Committee meetings are usually held week 7 of each term. All Parents and interested citizens are welcome to attend General Meetings and only have to pay the $1 membership fee to become a member and be able to vote on any matters. The school Cafeteria are always looking for volunteers to help prepare & serve Breakfast and Lunches on school days. Please contact Manager Brodie Skoda if you are interested in giving some time. Volunteers will receive a free lunch in a very friendly busy atmosphere. Parents and students can also order school lunches at www.spriggyschools.com.au or by downloading the Ap. The school based uniform shop located near the front of the school is open during school terms on Mondays 10.30-11.30 and Wednesdays 1-2pm or by special appointment either with the manager Marianne Bondarczuk or through school admin. Parents can either attend in person or download the order form off the school website, make an online payment sending the completed order to [email protected] and send students to the shop during school hours to try on and collect uniforms. The uniform shop is also open three days before Term 1 as well as yr 7 Orientation Day each year. Marianne will also open the shop at a day/time negotiated with parents if needed. Don Punch is running a free sausage sizzle in celebration of Children’s Week WA this Saturday, October 19th, at Big Swamp Wildlife Park. It’s a great chance for kids to enjoy some fun while you chat with him about any concerns or issues on your mind. Then Don is holding a mobile office for teaching staff at Mojo’s Café on Friday, October 25th, at 4 PM. This is an opportunity for teachers, education assistants, and other staff to meet with him after school hours to discuss any educational queries or concerns. Parents with an interest in education are also welcome to attend.

The new Warm soft shell winter jacket is now available from the uniform shop. Download the order form off the Bunbury shs website or attend the shop during opening hours on Monday or Wednesday.

On Wednesday the school is hosting the Fremantle Theatre Company's performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night commencing 7.15pm. Gates open from 5.45pm for you to bring a picnic and enjoy the wonderful sunset. See our event page for more details and ticket purchases.
