WHAT IF THE FUTURE WAS SOMETHING WE COULD STEP INTO?

For three decades, Time’s Up has been exploring what happens when art, technology, science, society and imagination collide.

Their work creates immersive worlds where people don’t just think about the future - they experience it. Play with it. Question it. And imagine what might come next.

At the centre of this work is Tim Boykett, founding member of Time’s Up and our keynote speaker for Bandwidth Plug-In.

Expect big questions, strange possibilities and a fresh look at what creative thinking can do when the rules get a little blurry.

This is the keynote you want to stick around for.

“I seek to engage with others by telling stories in a way that is the right way for me as an Aboriginal person and artist, and to make a contribution to making spaces safe in the arts and beyond.

I come from experiences grappling with ‘otherness,’ often in the attempt to say something about the use of language and its role in the creation and maintenance of power structures.

I also honour the rage.”
