πΈ Follow The Dream β Sorry Day Flowers πΈ
Our Follow The Dream students have been busy creating beautiful βSorry Day Flowersβ in preparation for the upcoming Walk of Reconciliation on 22 October 2026.
Through this meaningful lesson, students deepened their understanding of National Sorry Day and the importance of remembering the Stolen Generations. The activity encouraged reflection on kindness, respect, and understanding, while giving students a creative way to express these important themes.
Each student thoughtfully crafted three flowers β
πΌ one to keep,
πΌ one to share, and
πΌ one to contribute to the Reconciliation Art Installation.
Youβll be able to recognise our Bunbury Senior High School flowers by the unique fabric featured in each one (pictured). π
A heartfelt thank you to Michelle Woosnam, Chairperson at South West Aboriginal Women's Collective, for spending time with our students, sharing her knowledge, and helping them understand the significance of Sorry Day and the Walk of Reconciliation.
We are proud of our students for engaging so respectfully and thoughtfully in this important learning experience. πΏ

Students at Cafe Brew and Beyond explored the art of garnishing and plating design, learning how presentation can enhance the appeal of sweet treats.
They discovered different techniques for arranging desserts, adding creative garnishes, and using colour and texture to create eye-catching displays.
After observing examples and discussing design ideas, the students applied their new skills to their own sweet treats. They demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and pride in their work, producing beautifully presented desserts. The students did an amazing job showcasing their understanding of garnishing and plating, and their finished creations were both impressive and delicious-looking.
