The impact of small changes can bring amazing and powerful results in life. The consistency and dedication to making small changes to drive further progress towards small and even larger goals in life. The goals can include physical, emotional and mental changes.
“Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.” – James Clear
It is easy to brush off small changes as too simple or too slow, or even to insignificant to make a difference. Often it is underestimated the ripple effect that small consistent habits can make. A simple morning ritual, moment of stillness, gratitude over complaint, walk the stair instead of the lift, a deeper breath over shallow breath,
These minor actions made in the day, repeated with consistency and intention, can become a building block of change. Moving towards the bigger picture of goals that may be present and important for growth.
Consider your goals, makes small changes to grow towards them.

Tendinopathy is a broad umbrella term for any condition affecting the tendons, causing pain and limited ranges of movements.
Tendons are rope like connective tissue that connect muscles to bone.
The most common cause for tendinopathies is overuse or repetitive actions in sport, within your daily and working life.
During the ageing process tendons become less flexible making them easier to injure performing household chores/hobbies or a sudden injury such as a fall or accident.
Tendon conditions can occur in any tendon, but they are common in the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and heels.
The two main types of tendinopathies are:
• Tendinitis — new or sudden inflammation of the tendon.
• Tendinosis — degeneration (breakdown) of the tendon that occurs gradually over time
Symptoms are characterised by:
• Chronic tendon pain often dull aches especially when moving the limb or joint
• Pain may subside when warmed up but returns after cooling down, rest or sleep
• Reduced exercise tolerance
• Swelling, heat and discoloration (skin turns blue or white)
• Stiffness and reduced range of movement, weakness in the area
Seek a correct diagnosis and assistance from a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist to ensure you are completing the best type of exercise treatment.
Tendons take time to heal, don’t be impatient, ignore or push through pain.
Look at what may have been the cause of the tendinopathy and adjust your routine, technique, equipment or other factors that have contributed to the condition.

Electrolytes are substances that our bodies require. They maintain balance between fluids inside and outside of the cells in our bodies. They conduct electrical charges to support chemical reactions for our cell health and body movements.
The key electrolyte elements are sodium, magnesium, potassium, calcium, chloride, bicarbonate and phosphate.
Functions of electrolytes include fluid balance, nerve function, muscle contraction, transport of essential nutrients and vitamins.
Electrolyte deficiencies can show in the following signs and symptoms:
◾️ Muscle cramping
◾️ Fatigue
◾️ Irregular heartbeat
◾️ Confusion
◾️ Dizziness
Consumption of food and drinks that contact high electrolytes can ensure our levels are balanced. If you are concerned if you are not in balance consult with your GP for a blood test.
