🀝✨ Teamwork is Dreamwork! ✨🀝

Students explored the importance of teamwork through a collaborative classroom activity, where they worked together to design creative posters. By sharing ideas, listening to one another, and combining their strengths, students developed a deeper understanding of cooperation, communication, and respect. Their finished posters proudly reflect the power of working together toward a common goal.

We will be focusing on teamwork for the next few weeks. This week we completed Maths games in teams. πŸŒŸπŸ“šβœ–οΈ

πŸŒβ™»οΈ Worker of the Week – World Environment Day 2026 β™»οΈπŸŒ

To celebrate World Environment Day, our Worker of the Week showed great initiative by designing and creating colourful environmental rocks. Each rock featured positive messages about caring for our planet, helping to inspire others to take pride in protecting the environment. This creative activity encouraged students to reflect on sustainability and the small actions we can all take to make a big difference.

πŸ“š Premier's Reading Challenge Update πŸ“š

There are just 9 days left in the Premier's Reading Challenge and our students have been doing an amazing job embracing the joy of reading! 🌟

As of yesterday, students have collectively read an incredible 970 books throughout the challenge. πŸŽ‰πŸ“–

To keep the excitement going, students have enjoyed a range of rewards through our weekly random prize draws for logging books, including icy poles, prize box treats and even brand-new books! πŸ¦πŸŽπŸ“š

Our goal is for every student to read at least 12 books during the challenge, and we encourage everyone to keep reading and logging their books as we count down to the finish line.

Keep up the fantastic work up! πŸ’™πŸ“š

🌿 National Reconciliation Week 2026 🌿

Our students have been getting creative as they explored this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, All In. Through these vibrant poster designs, students reflected on the importance of coming together, taking action and making positive change towards reconciliation.

It has been wonderful to see the thought, creativity and individuality displayed in each piece, with students sharing their understanding of respect, unity and inclusion through art.

Thank you to all students who participated and contributed to these meaningful creations. β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ–€

Today our school community came together to celebrate the joy of reading during National Simultaneous Storytime! πŸ“šβ

Our amazing High School Leaders visited K–3 classrooms to read this year’s featured story, Luna Roo, to our youngest students. Through expressive storytelling, engaging discussions and plenty of smiles, students were immersed in the magic of reading and imagination. πŸ¦˜πŸ“–

It was wonderful to see students of all ages connecting through literature and building positive relationships across our school community. Experiences like these help foster a lifelong love of reading and highlight the importance of literacy for all learners.

A huge thank you to our student leaders for the enthusiasm, confidence and leadership they showed throughout the day! πŸ’›πŸ’«

πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ National Reconciliation Week 2026 | 27 May - 2 June 2026πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

This year’s theme, All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation - every single day.

The theme reminds us that reconciliation is not something we watch from the sidelines. It requires all of us to listen, learn, reflect and take meaningful action together to create positive change.

At Bullsbrook College, we are committed to fostering respectful relationships and recognising the rich cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

🀝 Let’s stand together and be All In for reconciliation.

🌟 Worker of the Week 🌟

As part of our Worker of the Week celebration, students took part in a fun hands-on challenge, using blocks to design and create their very own flowers! 🌸✨

The activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and fine motor skills, while giving students the opportunity to proudly share their unique creations with others. It was wonderful to see so many imaginative ideas bloom across the classroom! 🌼🧩

Well done to all of our amazing students πŸ‘πŸ€
