🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of Leaders of Rock! 🎸

We are so proud of our incredible music school community. Our students truly rocked the stage throughout spring and summer this year!

🎶 September kicked off with a fantastic concert at Manningham Uniting Church and Community Centre
🏆 We competed in the Collarts OSIC Championships and got into the National Final - performing amongst some of the best young musicians in Australia!
🎸 Guitarists and bassists worked hard and submitted awesome performances for the AMEB Victoria Rockschool Exams
🎤 And we wrapped it all up with an unforgettable 10th Anniversary Concert at Warrandyte Mechanics Institute & Arts Association

We’ve turned 10 — and we’re celebrating with a concert! 🎸

Join us this Saturday, 15 November, from 2–4:30 pm at the Warrandyte Mechanics Institute as we mark a decade of music, memories, and community. Expect an afternoon full of rock and roll performances from students of all ages and abilities — the next generation of rockstars!

We’ve also shared a special blog post capturing our 10-year journey as a music school, told through photos and stories.

Term 2 & 3 Snapshots 📸🎸

We've had an awesome few months at our music school! 🎵

Students have gotten new guitars, learned how to restring old ones, and are generally exploring who they are as musicians very organically 💪

Our school now has young guitar teachers happy to help with guitar lessons. Well done Jacob and Eki for completing 2 months of guitar teacher training, we can't wait to see you teach more at our school! 🎸

We also had Gayle come to help for work experience teaching guitar and piano, and learning drums along the way. Well done Gayle! 🎹🥁

All in all, we love passing on the love of music, and these leadership opportunities help elevate our community to bigger and better things ❤️
