Mini Olympics

Our Prep to Year 2 Mini Olympics brought plenty of healthy competition and fun today!

Students enthusiastically participated in sprints, bean bag toss (shot put), vortex throwing (javelin), long jump, and novelty races including the egg-and-spoon and sack races. We were also delighted to welcome parents and grandparents, who enjoyed the festivities from the shade of the deck while cheering on our young athletes.

A wonderful day of fun, teamwork and community spirit at Sts Peter & Paul's School! 💙💛

There was pure joy in the air at our Book Week Parade on Friday!

From creative costumes and big smiles to excited cheers from friends, families and staff, our school community came together to celebrate the magic of books and storytelling. It was wonderful to see our learners proudly showcasing their favourite characters and sharing their love of reading.

A huge thank you to our parents and families who joined us, helping make the morning even more special. Events like these remind us how books can inspire imagination, connection and a lifelong love of learning.

Thanks to Mrs Davey & Mrs DeZilva for all of the joy they brought to the library in Book Week.

The Courage To Say Sorry

Our Year 2 students recently welcomed their families to the church for a special liturgy centred on the theme "The Courage to Say Sorry." Together, students reflected on the importance of courage, forgiveness and making amends when we make mistakes.

We are grateful to our Year 2 students for leading such a meaningful celebration of faith and thank the many family members who joined us.

Moments like these strengthen the connection between faith, family and school, helping our students grow as compassionate and courageous members of our community.

Wellbeing Week at Sts Peter and Paul's School

In Week 7 of each term, we pause to place an extra spotlight on student wellbeing, recognising that healthy minds, healthy bodies and healthy relationships are essential foundations for learning and flourishing.

This term's theme has been "Fuelling Our Bodies" for our best learning and relating. Students have been exploring how nutritious food helps us to concentrate, regulate our emotions, build positive relationships and be our best selves each day.

A special thank you to our P&F for supplying fresh vegetable platters and healthy dips for students to taste test. It was fantastic to see children enthusiastically sampling both familiar favourites and some new healthy options!


We are grateful for the partnership of our families and P&F as we continue to nurture the wellbeing of every child at Sts Peter and Paul's.

As part of our 110-year celebrations in 2026, we are delighted to unveil new installations honouring our House Patrons.

These beautiful additions celebrate the rich history, traditions, and faith that have shaped Sts Peter and Paul’s School for generations. We know this special gift will continue to tell the story of our house patrons and inspire students, staff, and families for many years to come.

Next time you're on campus, take a stroll through the walkway between OSHC and the Music Room to enjoy these wonderful installations and reflect on the legacy of those who have helped shape our community over the past 110 years. 💙

Last week, our Junior & Senior Choirs proudly represented Sts Peter and Paul’s at the Queensland Catholic Music Festival (QCMF). Students showcased their talents alongside schools from across Queensland, demonstrating confidence, commitment, and a love of music.

Many families have also enjoyed seeing our choirs perform at recent school assemblies. Our students should be incredibly proud of their efforts and achievements!

Choir is just one of the many extracurricular opportunities at Sts Peter and Paul’s made possible by the generosity of staff who volunteer their time to create enriching and life-giving experiences for our students.

Congratulations to all of our singers! We are very proud. 💙
