The preschool is located on spacious playgrounds with leafy surrounds and plen
ty of natural shade. The large natural outdoor area leads to the air-conditioned centre with dual rooms. The Pre-schoolers are in the 'Flying Fox Room' and Early Learners are in the 'Sugar Glider Room'. Programming:
Our program is based upon our philosophy developed with our families hence we encourage parents to participate in it's development. The program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and the children’s emerging interests, strengths and potentials. Staff observe each child individually, then record and implement these observations into the program, followed by detailed evaluations. Parents are encouraged to arrange regular interviews with their child’s teacher to discuss development, the direction of the program and to exchange information about home-life to the centre. The staff hold regular staff meetings where they discuss children’s development, Workplace, Health and Safety issues, the program and any other areas of interest. Meals:
Families are to provide a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for their child. We have a healthy food policy and ask that families provide meals that cater to the five healthy food groups. Cows’ milk are supplied for morning tea and children have access to water at all times. Ideas for suitable meals are provided on enrolment. Access and Parking:
Drop-Off Zone
The carpark at the preschool is for staff only. This allows us to limit cars coming in and out of the carpark making it a safer path to walk with children. Please hold your child’s hand as you walk through the car park and be mindful of closing the gates as you enter and exit the preschool. There is ample parking on the street.
