🏮 Immerse Yourself again in the Magic of the Chinese Lantern Festival (AKA Final Crazy of Lunar New Year Celebration) 2025 at Aussie World! 🏮

The Lantern Festival is the official (also unofficial) ending celebration of the Lunar New Year program, it is recognised as the final crazy before the community returning to normal work and life balance. i.e. the last weekend of Xmas & New Year holiday. 😊
To celebrate the Lantern Festival, we are hosting a multicultural festival aimed at bringing together the local community to experience the joy and cultural richness of this traditional celebration.

Back to Feb 2024, the 1st Lantern Festival on the coast collected huge support from the local community, nearly 2,000 people shown up at the gate in a raining day, one local councillor attended the event left his experience: the rain could not dampen the community spirit.
We are really appreciated and spoiled by the community support and trust; therefore, we have been well prepared this year, from stage performance to lantern and decorations, we tested our limits, despite all volunteers are full time workers.

For the 2nd Lantern Festival preparation, we are getting close to our target, to bring most of the traditional elements like:
• Dragon & lion dance
• Lantern exhibition and decorations
• 3M high inflatable modals, i.e. Snake and wellness god (as attached)
• Cultural stage performance
• Culture experience activities
• Handcraft lantern experience

Aussie World, in collaboration with the Sunshine Coast Chinese Association, cordially invites you to partake in this traditional celebration right at Aussie World! Join us for an unforgettable experience, as we bring the spirit of the Lantern Festival to life. 🎇
