Congratulations Luke Funnel on an amazing performance throughout Year 12. Luke was tutored by Sam throughout the year and his results have been phenomenal. Luke came to Sam at the beginning of Year 12 with an interest in studying Actuarial Studies at university. One year later, Luke has been accepted into an Actuarial degree and with an amazing 50% scholarship in tow. Luke has done exceptionally well, scoring a 97.25 ATAR and A's in Mathematics. Well done on an amazing effort this year Luke!
Sam's fondest memory of their tutoring for the year was when Luke showed up to a session in an Australian rugby jersey. In the previous session, Luke had indicated he vouched for the Spring Bocks, being from South Africa, and was currently watching the Rugby Union games between the two countries. When asked why he wore the jersey for Australia, Luke replied, "Because when I wear it around, I get these puzzled looks from people wondering if I actually play for the Wallabies. It makes me feel important."
All the best Luke. Sam
