Buddina State School An inclusive, beachside school on the Sunshine Coast.

1st bell: 8.30am
Morning break: 10.45am-11.30am
Afternoon break: 1.30pm-2.00pm
Last bell: 2.40pm

Our school logo depicts the Point Cartwright lighthouse as a symbol of the school being a guiding light in education. The sailing boat is our coastal emblem which symbolises the school steering the students towards the goal of excellence within a safe and supportive surrounding.

We hope all our students and families have a happy, safe and relaxing break filled with plenty of fun, family time and a chance to recharge! 🙌🏼

🍦🧪 What a Cool Way to Finish the Term! 🧪🍦

3A and 3B celebrated the end of term today with not one, but TWO fun-filled activities! 🎉

First up was an 🍨 ice cream sundae bar, where students got to create their own delicious masterpieces with all the toppings! 😋🍫🍓

Then it was time to get their science hats on 🔬 as they explored the fascinating world of dry ice! ❄️🫧 There were plenty of bubbling experiments, amazed faces and even some very cool dry ice bubble “hats”! 😂

Two very different activities, but one fantastic way to finish the term! 🙌🏼

What an incredible Colour Run we had today! 💥🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our students had an absolute blast running, laughing, dancing and getting covered in a rainbow of colour! 🌈💦 There were plenty of smiles, plenty of mess and SO much fun! 😆

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing students, staff, families and volunteers who helped make today such a memorable event. ❤️

And of course, a massive thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts! 🙌 Your generosity has been incredible.

Our Colour Run is TOMORROW! 🎉

A little reminder for our students to:

👕 Wear their regular school uniform to school tomorrow.
🎒 Bring a change of clothes for the Colour Run, including a WHITE SHIRT so they can really show off those colourful splashes! 🌈🎨

Please check the timetable below ⬇️ for your child’s year level run time.

🚌 YEAR 5 CAMPERS ARE COMING HOME! 🚌

Our Year 5 campers are currently getting on the bus and are due to arrive back at school at approximately 1:40pm today! 🎉

Parents and carers are welcome to collect students from the bus stop on Iluka Avenue once the buses arrive, please see your child’s teacher.

We hope our Year 5s have had an amazing couple of days filled with plenty of fun, adventure, laughter… and lots (and lots!) of mud! 😂🤎

We can’t wait to hear all about their camp adventures! 🌿🚌✨
