Year 6 St Vinnie’s Sleepout πŸ’™

Our Year 6 students are spending the night in the hall as part of the St Vinnie’s Sleepout, raising awareness of homelessness and supporting the St Vincent de Paul Society Appeal.

Earlier today, students packed dignity bags filled with essential items generously donated by our school community and took part in workshops exploring the causes and impacts of homelessness.

Thank you to our families and community for your support in helping our students learn about empathy, compassion and making a difference.

😴🧸 Warning: Our school experienced a serious outbreak of comfy clothes today!

Students and staff rolled out of bed (mostly πŸ˜‰) and straight into Pyjama Day to support the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. From fluffy dressing gowns and cosy slippers to colourful PJs and favourite onesies, the school was looking extra comfortable while raising funds for a great cause.

While we may have looked ready for a nap, our community was wide awake when it came to helping others. Thanks to the generosity of our students, families and staff, we have helped support those doing it tough this winter. ❄️

The cosy vibes don't stop there! Tonight, our brave Year 6 students and staff will be swapping their own beds for an overnight stay in the school hall as they pack dignity bags for St Vincent de Paul to donate to those in need. What a wonderful way to put our school values into action and make a difference in the lives of others.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated and embraced the cosy vibes. Check out some of the fun from the day below! πŸ“Έβœ¨
