🦎 Year 6 Camp – Day 3! 🌴

Another amazing day of Year 6 Camp! Today we had the most incredible animal experience with the Wildlife Whitsundays Creature Combo Program. The students had the opportunity to get up close to some amazing Australian wildlife and learn lots along the way! 🐍🦎🦘

After our wildlife adventure, we headed back to camp to make the most of the facilities, enjoying the pools, waterslides, jumping pillow and pickleball. 🏊‍♀️💦🏓

We finished the night with a fantastic Talent Show, where our students got up, showed off their talents and cheered each other on. There were plenty of laughs, big smiles and some very impressive performances! 🎤🎭👏

Another action-packed day filled with adventure, learning, friendship and plenty of fun. What a memorable camp this is turning out to be! 💙🌴✨

🌊 Year 6 Camp – Day 2! 🏝️

What an incredible day exploring the Whitsunday Islands on our Ocean Rafting adventure! 🚤

The students had an action-packed day, including snorkelling in the beautiful Whitsunday waters, enjoying lunch at Whitehaven Beach, and walking up to the Whitsunday Inlet Lookout to take in the spectacular views. 🤿🏖️🌴

We finished our island adventure with a fun and exciting ride back, before returning to camp to enjoy the facilities and have some well-earned downtime. 🏊‍♀️⚽️🏓

We wrapped up the night with a camp trivia competition, with plenty of laughs, teamwork and friendly competition! 🧠🏆

Another amazing day of adventure, learning and making memories with friends. 💙🌊🏝️

🌴 Year 6 Camp – Day 1! 🐊

What an amazing first day of camp! We started our adventure with a visit to the Crocodile Safari near Proserpine, where we saw lots of big and little crocs and learnt more about these incredible local animals. 🐊

From there, we headed to Airlie Beach BIG4, settled into our cabins and then jumped straight into the afternoon fun! Students enjoyed swimming, waterslides, mini golf, pickleball, the jumping pillow and soccer. 🏊‍♀️⛳🏓⚽

This evening, the Reef staff visited us to talk about what to expect tomorrow on our Ocean Rafting adventure. The students are now well and truly ready for tomorrow’s big day!

Everyone is settled into bed and ready for a good night's sleep after a huge day of fun, adventure and making memories with friends. 🌊🚤🌟

Do you love getting involved and helping make a difference for our school community, but don’t have the time or commitment to take on a coordinator role?

💙🧡 Bucasia P&C is looking for a Fundraising Assistant!
You’ll work alongside our Administration Officer to help bring fundraising ideas, events and activities to life — as much or as little as your time allows.
