πΏ A Friendly Reminder from The Allied Health Studio πΏ
As we head into the colder months (and the season of sniffles), we kindly ask that if you or your child is feeling unwell, they do not attend their in person therapy sessions. If theyβre too unwell for school, theyβre likely too unwell for therapy too.
Our goal is to keep clients, families, and our dedicated clinicians healthy and safe.
We understand that illness can pop up unexpectedly. To avoid a cancellation fee, we ask for 48 business hours of notice. That said, we know life happens, so we offer flexible alternatives to help you make the most of your scheduled time:
ππΌ Telehealth sessions
ππΌ Parent-only sessions
ππΌ Resource preparation
ππΌ Report or letter writing
π Be kind to yourself, rest up, and we'll look forward to seeing you when you're feeling better.

Happy World Laughter Day!
The act of laughing can have a serious positive impact on someone's well-being and mental health. World Laughter Day aims to promote more laughing amongst people and to celebrate the benefits of laughter. Here are some of them:
π It releases endorphins. When you laugh your body releases endorphins, which are natural painkillers that can help you feel good and ease chronic pain.
π It reduces stress. Laughing lowers the level of stress hormone in your body, helping you cut down on stress and anxiety, making you feel more relaxed.
This day is all about happiness, peace, laughing, and sharing in laughter with each other!
