It’s not just our students who are learning at BHPS.
Our teachers have been getting into the learning too, taking part in learning walks, observing colleagues in action and sharing ideas about effective teaching.
This round, we’ve been focusing on the explicit teaching strategy of checking for understanding, making sure our students are with us, know what they’re learning and are ready for the next step.

We are proud to share some highlights from our recent NSW Student Survey at Brunswick Heads Public School.
Our students appreciate the inclusive and supportive environment at our school and recognise the encouragement they receive to reach their full potential.
As always, we are looking for ways to grow and improve, with student motivation and student voice being areas we will focus on in the near future.
