Students took on staff today in an impressive display of courage and determination, inaugurating our new turf with an intense netball match. Woot woot BSPS staff on the win!

It was here, then it was there! Brilliant team effort from our Environment Action Team and associates to spread a HEAP of mulch today! INSIEME UNITED! 🔊

We watched on in fascination as 20 tonnes of sand was laid over the new turf today ... the last step in the process of resurfacing the junior courts!

🇮🇹Through our partnership with the University of Melbourne, a team of Year 5/6 students recently participated in the Premio La Magna Capitana; an Italian reading and literature initiative conducted by the Biblioteca La Magna Capitana in Puglia.
Students worked alongside University of Melbourne Italian Studies staff and students, supported by our wonderful COASIT Melbourne Language Assistant, Martina, on this authentic enrichment opportunity, Our school values of Sense of Possibility and Constant Learning were very much in action!
We sincerely thank the University of Melbourne, particularly Dora Treggiari and Matt Absalom, for their ongoing partnership and for helping to inspire curiosity, connection and a love of learning the Italian language.
