On Thursday, our students participated in 'First Nations Storytelling: Caring for Country' through QPAC's Artists in Classroom program. An artist guided students in an exploration of storytelling as a dynamic and living cultural practice vital to First Nations and Torres Strait Islander stories.
Students created an image of a place that is special to them, then connected to other students' stories by creating lines, demonstrating how stories can carry knowledge, perspectives and connections across time!
