NAIDOC Week is celebrated across Australia in the first week of July each year.
It is a special time to recognise and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week gives us all a chance to learn more about the world’s oldest living cultures, and to show respect for the stories, traditions, and strength of First Nations peoples.
In our service, we take this time to learn together, show respect, and celebrate the rich cultures that make our community stronger. 🌿

Good Morning Families,
This winter, we are collecting donations for the South Coast Community Kitchen, who provide essential food and support to families in our local community who are doing it tough during the colder months.
This is our 4th year supporting our local community as well as supporting children to learn about kindness, empathy, and giving back to the community through this initiative.
Winter can be a particularly challenging time for many, and together we can help bring warmth, comfort, and support to those in need.
We welcome donations of anything non-perishable, tinned goods, pasta sauces, noodles, muesli bars, fruits snack packs or grocery gift cards to help us create winter hampers.
Let’s come together to share kindness and support throughout our community this winter season. 🌟
Thank you for your generosity and ongoing support — it is truly appreciated.
With gratitude,
Broulee Early Learning Centre

Today we acknowledge National Sorry Day.

We take time to remember and reflect on the Stolen Generations, and the deep and lasting impact this has had on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities.

We recognise the importance of truth-telling, healing, and reconciliation, and we honour the strength and resilience of those who continue to share their stories.

We encourage our community to pause, reflect, and stand in respect today.
