Exit Smiling are a Malua Bay and Broulee-based five-piece, fusing rock, rap, and funk with a cheeky swagger. Formed in late 2024, the band features Joey (guitar), Julian (drums), Orlando (guitar + vox), Max (bass), and Cadence (vox). Drawing on influences like Rage Against the Machine, Limp Bizkit, Beastie Boys, and The Beatles, their sets are tight, energetic, and guaranteed to get people dancing. With a reputation for sharp musicianship well beyond their years and standout wins at battle of the bands, Exit Smiling are quickly earning their place on the South Coast music scene.
Exit Smiling are one of seven featured Youth Acts from the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley Shire appearing at YOUNITE on Saturday 27th September at Smokey Dan's alongside headline acts merci, mercy, Thunder Fox, Creature Fear and ARCHIE. YOUNITE is a collaboration between The Family Place, Kindred Kollective, Good Vibes, Mushroom Booking Agency, River of Art, and Smokey Dan's to create a youth focused music and arts festival and empower young musicians to kickstart their music careers with a live performance showcase. This event is proudly funded by the NSW Government under the Our Region, Our Voice Regional Youth Investment Project (RYIP).
