CELEBRATING OUR FATHERS & FATHER FIGURES

A big thank you to all the dads, grandads and special father figures who joined us for our Father’s Day celebrations at St Peter’s today.

It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate the important men who support, guide and encourage our students every day.

And of course, no St Peter’s Father’s Day celebration would be complete without the traditional tug of war, with the dads taking out the win! A little friendly rivalry and plenty of laughs made it a great way to finish the morning.

We also recognise that Father’s Day can bring many different emotions, and we hold in our thoughts those who may be missing someone special.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the morning such a wonderful celebration of family and community.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father figures in our St Peter’s community.

TASTE 2026 — WHAT A NIGHT!

The talent. The creativity. The performances. The atmosphere.

Our Year 11 and 12 students absolutely delivered at this year’s TASTE – The Arts and TAS Talent Expo.

From powerful live music and HSC performances to incredible major works across Visual Arts, Timber and Textiles, the evening was packed with work worth stopping for.

Our Hospitality students also helped make the night one to remember, preparing and serving delicious food and mocktails for our guests.

A huge thank you to our staff who worked behind the scenes helping make TASTE 2026 such a successful evening.

And to our students — congratulations. Your creativity, skill, commitment and courage to put your work on display made the night what it was.

An incredible celebration of The Arts at St Peter’s.

Keep an eye out for more photos and highlights from TASTE 2026 in our Week 6 newsletter tomorrow 📰

BOOK WEEK | BOOKS COMING TO LIFE!

Something strange happened at St Peter’s on Friday…our whole College was transformed into a wonderful Symphony of Stories.

Harry Potter and the Mad Hatter wandered the grounds, Dorothy arrived with Toto, Dinosaurs were spotted, there a few Little Misses and characters from Narnia, Minecraft, Pokémon and plenty more escaped straight from the pages.

Our Primary School Book Week Family Day was bursting with colour, creativity and imagination as students and staff brought this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories,” to life.

A huge thank you to our families for the incredible costumes, creativity and for joining us to celebrate the magic of books and reading.

Because sometimes the best stories don’t stay on the bookshelf.

ULLADULLA FAMILIES – WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU

St Peter’s Anglican College is inviting current and future families to join us for a Parent Forum on Wednesday 9 September, from 4.15–5.00pm at the Ulladulla Civic Centre.

As we explore transport options between Mollymook and Broulee, we want to hear directly from the families who may use them.

This is your opportunity to meet with representatives from St Peter’s, share your thoughts, ask questions and help us better understand the needs of families in the Ulladulla and surrounding areas.

Considering St Peter’s for your family? Already part of our community? We’d love you to come along and be part of the conversation.

♟️ CHECKMATE!

Our Primary students spent the day putting their strategy, concentration and problem-solving skills to the test in a fantastic Chess Competition.

Competing in teams of four, students enjoyed a day of friendly competition while building confidence, making new friends and challenging themselves in a completely different way.

Chess is a wonderful equal-opportunity pursuit, giving every student the chance to find their niche, think ahead and experience the satisfaction of a well-played game.

A great day of thinking, teamwork and plenty of clever moves!

This week during Book Week we have had Kristen Harvey (Mum of Banjo [Kinder] and Alby [Year 2]) and Dianne Ellis (Nanna of Edie Mactier [Kinder]) visit the Kindergarten students.

Both ladies are published authors!

They read some of their books and shared how they created their stories and their plans for future books.

Dianne also donated 3 of her books to our school library, thank you!

The Kindergarten students came prepared for the session, thinking about and writing a variety of questions to ask both ladies about their experience as real life authors 📚
