🌱 Seeds of Science: National Science Week 2026

This National Science Week, we recognised the power of curiosity, inquiry, collaboration and shared learning.

Just as seeds need the right conditions to grow, scientific knowledge flourishes when questions are nurtured, ideas are shared and learning is connected to real-world challenges.

A number of our students were delighted to take part in a High Potential and Gifted Education Science Day High School during the week. Students loved having the opportunity make use of the great facilities to further their learning and interests, while having a lot of fun along the way🧪

Back at our school, the spirit of the week came to life through our Scientists in the Making program 🔬

Throughout Term 3, students are investigating real-world environmental challenges in our local community, developing their understanding of our environment and exploring how they can take action to care for and protect it 🌳

Their learning journeys are guided by questions, discoveries, partnerships and solutions, with students working collaboratively to turn their ideas into meaningful action 🌎

We got Book Week off to an early start with our Book Parade this morning, making sure all of our students could join in the fun before our intensive swimming program begins next week. 🏊‍♀️📖
