On Wednesday in week 5 our students will
take part in the Road Smart Education Program —
a free, interactive road safety incursion from the
Road Safety Commission.
It’s hands-on, tech-infused
learning that helps young people make safer
choices — as pedestrians, cyclists, passengers,
and one day, drivers.
Because the habits they build today are the
ones that protect them for life.

Big thanks to the Road Safety Commission for this opportunity.

Super excited to host TSE’s Digivan at Broome Enterprise Academy tomorrow! We can’t wait for our students to explore the gear and meet the mentors. 🎶 🎵 🤘

Broome, we’re here! 🎶✨

Our brand-new Digi Van is making its debut this week, with music workshops kicking off for students from Broome Enterprise Academy and Broome Senior High School.

We’re also very excited to welcome our Digi dream team, Mike and Cody, to beautiful Yawuru country 🤍

Mike is TSE’s Creative Director, singer-songwriter and creative producer, while Cody is founder of SONG LAB, music producer, youth mentor and the coordinator of our Digi Beats program. Together, they create safe, creative spaces where young people can build confidence, learn new skills and express themselves through music!

A huge thank you to the incredible supporters who helped bring our Digi Van vision to life: Evero Engineering, Design Plus Digital, Gro Foundation, Skilled Creative, Blackmagic Design, Rio Tinto, Woodside Energy, FRRR, YACWA, the Department of Communities and our creative masters Skilled Creative.

Special love to Sarah Cox, who created the beautiful artwork, Pathways of Light and Learning, wrapping the van.

Watch this space as we break it down in the Digi Van this week! 🕺🏽 For enquiries pls DM us!

🎉 What a way to finish our very first term at Broome Enterprise Academy! 🎉

As our first term comes to a close, we're incredibly proud of everything our students, staff and families have achieved together in such a short time.

Since opening our doors, we've watched young people reconnect with learning, build confidence, develop new skills and embrace opportunities both in and out of the classroom.

From carpentry and metal fabrication projects to VR career experiences, excursions, sport, cultural activities and learning On Country, our students have shown resilience, curiosity and a willingness to give new things a go.

We've also been overwhelmed by the support from our community, partners and local businesses who have backed our vision and helped us create opportunities for our young people.

BEA was created to provide a different pathway for students who need it — a place where relationships come first, learning is hands-on and every young person is supported to succeed in their own way.

Thank you to our amazing students for trusting us and showing up each day ready to learn and grow. Thank you to our staff for their passion, flexibility and commitment to building something special from the ground up. And thank you to our families and community for walking alongside us on this journey.

This may have been our first term, but it's only the beginning.

Have a safe and well-deserved break everyone — we can't wait to see what Term 3 brings! 💙

Have a safe and enjoyable day! 💙
