📍 Miss Jade is heading out to Community!

Our Broome Residential College Transition Officer, Miss Jade, will be visiting communities next week to catch up with our current students and families, as well as meet future students interested in coming to Broome Residential College.

She’ll have information and enrolment packs available and will be happy to answer any questions about boarding at BRC and schooling in Broome.

Keep an eye out for Miss Jade in Balgo, Mulan, Billiluna, Yarruman/Ringer Soak and Warmun 👋🏽

In this role you'll:
✨ Lead, support and guide a dedicated team of Boarding Supervisors.
✨ Support the safety, wellbeing and development of boarding students.

✨ Assist with staff training, performance and day-to-day College operations.

Our Country, Our Place 🖤

The Resi Mob worked alongside local artists Rebekah and Rachel Treacy to bring Country, Community, Story and a sense of Home together in the design of our new Broome Residential College shirt 🎉

BRC is a home away from home for young people from across the Kimberley, each bringing their own identity, background, experiences and connection to the places and communities they come from 👣

Through workshops with Rebekah and Rachel, our students shared their ideas, stories and drawings, drawing inspiration from their homes and the inland and coastal towns and communities that have shaped who they are. These conversations and student designs helped inform the final artwork and make the shirt something that truly represents our Resi Mob 🙌🏽

The finished design celebrates the diverse backgrounds, stories and experiences that make the BRC community so special, while recognising the connection our students have to home, community and the Kimberley.

More than just a College shirt, it’s a shared symbol of connection, pride and belonging for all of our students ❤️
