OUR TEAM - Administration Manager Jess

Jess has been with Norwest Pest since before the business officially commenced operations. As a locally owned and operated pest management business based in Broome, we take great pride in providing professional and reliable pest management services to the local community and surrounding areas.

Over the years, Jess has developed a strong interest in the pest management industry and has completed her Certificate III in Urban Pest Management. Her experience with the business from its early beginnings has given her a strong understanding of both the industry and the needs of our local customers.

Jess is also a qualified pest management technician, her dual role allows her to support the day-to-day operations of the business while also understanding the work carried out by our technicians and the specific pest management challenges faced by customers in the Broome region.

THE SOLDIER.

We’ve found a large, active termite infestation inside a Broome home.

These are Mastotermes darwiniensis, one of the most destructive termite species in this part of Australia.

The termite shown here is a soldier, whose role is to defend the colony while the workers feed and cause the timber damage.

We have a few time slots available for termite inspections this Thursday and Friday! 👌🏼

Working together for better pest tree management 🤝

Norwest Pest recently worked alongside Kimberley Tree Care on a job to manage invasive pest trees, from removal through to regrowth control.

TREE REMOVAL
KTC carried out the removal of the pest tree, safely clearing the area and addressing the initial problem.

REGROWTH CONTROL
Following the removal, two team members from Norwest Pest assessed the site. They carefully developed an appropriate chemical management plan to carry out the treatment.

The aim was to effectively manage the regrowth, with safety and responsible application always a priority.
