Last week our Year 10 cohort took part in a Tomorrow Man workshop, exploring some of the pressures young men can face as they navigate identity, belonging and the expectations that can come with growing up.
The session created space to pause, reflect and unpack the messages they often receive without realising it. Through the idea of the “Man Code”, they considered how these pressures can shape the way they respond to challenges, express themselves and connect with others.
The conversation encouraged them to put words around their experiences, support one another and recognise that vulnerability is an important part of strength.
A valuable conversation for all as they continue to build self-awareness, strengthen relationships and grow into young men who understand that asking for support is a sign of courage.

Recently, our Year 8 students took part in an important AWE (Augustinian Wellbeing Education) workshop exploring positive and respectful peer relationships. Through meaningful conversations and reflection, students examined how their words and actions can influence others and help create a culture of kindness, inclusion, and respect.
Aligned with our Augustinian values and the PERMA wellbeing framework, the workshop reinforced the importance of building relationships based on respect, empathy, trust, and mutual support.
Through this, we continue to foster a culture where students look out for and support one another, understand the impact of their words and actions, and take responsibility for creating a respectful and inclusive environment.

Last week we hosted our largest Magic: The Gathering tournament to date, welcoming over 50 students from our campus and St Luke’s for an afternoon of strategic play. The students had an amazing time and the tournament highlighted the strong sense of mentorship within the club, with Year 11 and 12 students voluntarily guiding and building the confidence of players in Years 5 and 6.
Our MTG program has taken off at the College and students have truly made it their own. It has grown from a popular lunchtime activity into a thriving co-curricular space giving boys another meaningful place to connect and find their community at school.
Thank you to St Luke’s and all the participants for a fantastic afternoon.

🏄 Last week students from the Saints Surf Team competed at the Australian Interschools Surfing Championships.
21 students from Years 7–12 represented the College on the Gold Coast, with 6 of our 7 teams advancing through to Day 2 of competition.
Our Senior Boys team of Ben Z, Barney H, and Eden A made the National Final, eventually finishing an incredible 3rd in Australia after one of the most exciting finals of the event!! 🏅
A huge achievement and a proud moment for everyone involved in the program. Thanks to the parents and the staff who were also there supporting the boys

Our Year 9 and 10 Elective Music students stepped into the spotlight recently for an inspiring evening of live performance, sharing their talent with peers, parents, friends, and staff.
The Music Soirée formed an important part of their practical assessment, giving each student the opportunity to demonstrate their developing musicianship, confidence, and stagecraft in a real performance setting.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication, preparation, and courage shown on stage. Each performance reflected both growth in skill and a genuine passion for music.
👏 Congratulations to all performers for an outstanding evening of live music!
