Last week Kobe B, Jasper P, and Hayden C were selected to compete at the NSW All Schools Touch Football Championship at Kingsway Playing Fields.

The boys U15 NSWCIS team finished second in the competition. There was an incredible standard of competition and our boys played their hearts out, which we are always proud to hear! Well done boys.

🏉 A Season to Remember! 🏉
What a fantastic schoolboy rugby season we had in the @ competition! Our players have represented the College with pride, passion, and determination, showing tremendous growth both on and off the field. We had a huge number of teams represented in the Grand Final and we want to say a huge thank you to our coaches, staff, parents, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication made this season possible.
Most importantly, congratulations to our players for their commitment, sportsmanship, and team-first attitude throughout the year.

It's been a big month for Hudson M (Yr 6).
🏉A couple of weeks ago he was down in Mudgee, representing CIS at the NSW PSSA Rugby Union Championships.

CIS went on to win the Shield! Hudson had a brilliant tournament, scoring an absolute bucket load of tries and conversions. He was also awarded CIS Player of the Tournament and, to top it all off, was selected in the NSW team.

🏉Then last week he had 3 days of touch football at Coffs Harbour, representing CIS at the NSW PSSA Touch Football Championships. Where he was again awarded the CIS Player of the Tournament and was selected in the NSW Touch team - the only CIS representative to make the team, which was a huge achievement.

These last two weeks have been incredibly memorable for Hudson. He’s had such an amazing experience and had the opportunity to play alongside some really talented boys.

Huge congratulations Hudson! We hope you know that everyone is incredibly proud of you, and proud of how hard you train and how motivated and focused you are when it comes to competition time.

We recently held our Primary Athletics Carnival at Narrabeen, and today we awarded the boys with their ribbons and announced the Age Champions and the House Winner: CRANE 💚

It was a fantastic day of competition, participation, and school spirit across the track and field events. Students gave their best effort in every event, cheering on their classmates and embracing the true spirit of sportsmanship. Well done to all the boys and the staff for another wonderful carnival.

NSW Athletics held a Primary Schools Carnival over the weekend and we had some wonderful representatives from St Augustine's College.

Liam T placed 3rd in 11years 800m
Van J – placed 2nd in 11years Discus
Hudson M placed 1st in 100m, 200m, 400m, Long Jump and mixed relay in the 12s !

Well done boys ! We're happy to see these track and field events represented so well.

Saturday 15th August was a banner day for Saints Rugby. 17 teams were striving for 16 Titles at St Gregory’s College Campbelltown - and in a phenomenal days work, 15 Premierships were won.

In the main game, our 1st XV overcame a tenacious Oakhill team to hold on for a 28-22 win. 🏆

But Rugby at St Augustine’s is about more than results. It is about building character, creating friendships and lifelong memories. Big congratulations to the entire Saints Rugby program for another memorable and successful season.

On Saturday, all roads lead to St Gregory’s College Campbelltown, for the second year of Division 1 ISA Rugby Grand Finals.

St Augustine’s will feature in 16 of the 19 Grand Finals — an extraordinary achievement and a tremendous credit to Geoff Webster, our rugby coaching staff and, most importantly, our players, who have given their all to their teams throughout the season. We actually have 17 teams playing, with our 16C and 16D teams going head-to-head in one of the finals. Feature games include our 13A, 15A and 16A teams.
The rivalry will be on full display in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd XV Grand Finals, with NSW Rugby TV so impressed that all three matches will be livestreamed with commentary. For our Year 12 players, this will also be the final time they pull on the Saints jersey. It promises to be a very proud and emotional day. The day culminates with the 1st XV Grand Final against Oakhill at 3.15pm. We wish all our players and coaches the very best for what promises to be a historic day.

For our Football players, it is Semi-Final time. In the ISA, our 13A’s are local with an 8.30am kick off at SAS. Our 13C’s are off to visit the Three Sisters before they take on Blue Mountains Grammar. In the MWFA we have 8 teams striving to stay alive and make it to Grand Final day. Games are all around the local area between 8.30am and 2.30pm. The boys would love your support, particularly our U18 teams, with four teams in semi-finals. Our 1st XI are at Wyatt Reserve at Belrose with a 10.30am kick off. These games are sudden death, winner take all, some will no doubt be epic encounters which you will not want to miss.

Play with passion, compete with integrity, and leave with no regrets. Let's go Saints!
