Have You Seen Our Feelings Chart?

You may have noticed our Feelings Chart displayed around the centre — and it’s more than just a poster!

This resource is a wonderful tool that supports our educators in helping children recognise, understand, and express their emotions in a safe and supportive way. By using the chart throughout the day, we encourage children to talk about how they’re feeling, build emotional awareness, and develop important self-regulation skills.

The best part? This is something that can easily be used at home too! Families can support their child by talking about feelings, naming emotions, and using simple visuals like our chart to guide conversations.

Looking after our garden has become a special part of our daily routine at Reed Brookton. 🌱

The children are gently watering the plants, checking the soil, and making sure our vegetables and flowers are getting plenty of sunshine.

Through these simple but meaningful tasks, they are learning responsibility, teamwork, and how to care for living things.

It’s beautiful to see their pride as they notice new growth and celebrate each little change. Our garden is growing — and so are we.
