๐Ÿšง Our small world construction table was a big hit today! ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The children explored with diggers, dump trucks, road signs, bricks and much more, creating their own busy construction sites while developing imagination, communication, and problem-solving skills through play. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

๐ŸŽฃ Net Fishing Fun ๐Ÿ

Today, our children put their skills to the test with a fun fishing game! Using nets, they worked to catch as many fish as they could.

To add to the challenge one of our children suggested trying to catch fish without knocking the frogs off their lily pads ๐Ÿธ

This exciting activity encouraged concentration, hand-eye coordination, patience, and problem-solving as the children navigated the challenge. There was plenty of excitement, and friendly competition as they counted their catches ๐ŸŸ

๐Ÿซง Bubble Foam Sensory Play ๐Ÿซง

Our Babies and Toddlers had an amazing time being hands-on with bubble foam sensory play today! The soft, fluffy foam provided a fun and engaging sensory experience as the children squeezed, scooped, mixed, and explored its unique texture.

Sensory play like this helps support fine motor development, creativity, language skills, and scientific thinking, all while encouraging children to learn through play and discovery ๐Ÿ–

๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒฟ Our Kindy group enjoyed using magnifying glasses to take a closer look at natural items today!

The children observed shells, nuts, and other treasures from nature, discovering interesting textures, colours, and patterns while learning through play and exploration. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿชพ

๐Ÿ“ฎโœ‰๏ธ This week our Kindy children are exploring how mail delivery works! The children are decorating their own postcards, which will then addressed and posted to their home addresses.

This hands-on activity helps the children learn about communication, writing, addresses, and the exciting journey of mail from the post box to their letterbox at home.

We are looking forward to hearing their stories when their mail arrives ๐Ÿ

โœˆ๏ธ Last week our children were busy using their imaginations while pretending to take off from the runway and fly through the sky with aeroplane play.

Learning through play encourages children to explore ideas, express themselves, and have fun while building important everyday skills. ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒˆ Sensory Play in Action! ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Yesterday in our Kindy room, children explored a hands-on sensory tray filled with soft and hard chickpeas, along with sand scrapers for scooping, scraping, and creating! ๐Ÿซ˜๐Ÿ‘

The different textures sparked curiosity as children compared the feel of the chickpeas and experimented with moving and shaping them using the tools. This type of play supports fine motor development, coordination, and early problem-solving skillsโ€”all while having lots of fun! ๐Ÿ’ก

We love watching each child explore at their own pace, building confidence and creativity through play. ๐Ÿ’š
