Yesterday, Stage 2 were very lucky to have some special visitors from The State Library of NSW.
As a part of the ‘Far Out: Treasures to the Bush’ program, students were able to encounter real artefacts from Australia's diverse history as well as dress up as explorers and go on an imaginary voyage! It was an immersive hands-on learning experience for our students. 🚢🧭🗺️💙🩵

🩵💙We are so excited for our Feast Day tomorrow! 🩵💙
In preparation for this special celebration, students across the school have been reflecting on the Sacred Heart of Jesus and what it means to live our values of Faith, Truth and Love.
📚 Year 6 created and shared picture books with younger classes, exploring how the Sacred Heart is present in our learning, friendships, prayer and acts of kindness. This thoughtful project encouraged our Year 6 students to reflect on what it means to live the values of the Sacred Heart while creating a lasting gift for their younger peers.
🎨 Year 4 designed symbols representing our school values, with thoughtful explanations about faith, truth and love. Some beautiful examples were, “The Bible represents faith in God's words as it brings us hope"
"The sun represents our truth because even though sometimes we can't see it, it still shines upon us"
"The heart represents the love that Jesus gave us when he died on the cross"
✍️ Year 5 combined poetry and faith by creating shape poems about what the Sacred Heart means to them personally.
❤️ Our Infants students reflected on our school values through a hands-on craft activity.
We look forward to celebrating together tomorrow as a school community! 🙏❤️
