On Tuesday, our Stage 2 students had a visit from the FAR Out! Program, as they stepped back in time to explore the adventures of early navigators who helped map the Australian coastline.
Through an engaging and interactive storytelling workshop, students learned about famous explorers including Dirk Hartog and William Dampier. With costumes, props, hands-on participation and even a tale of a stowaway, history truly came to life!
Students also had the opportunity to view a fascinating collection of original historical items from the libraryβs collection, giving them a unique glimpse into Australiaβs maritime past.
What a wonderful day of learning, discovery and imagination! πβ΅π

Week 8 Assembly was packed with fun, celebrations and plenty of school spirit! π
5/6S entertained the crowd with their assembly item, The Real Students of Alma, while Super Ted and the Secret Spy kept a watchful eye on the audience. Their verdict? 3/4J demonstrated the most Respectful, Responsible and Resilient behaviour throughout the assembly. Well done! π
Excitement reached another level when the small PBL bucket was officially full and Miss Church gave the thumbs up for a spin and a tip. The reward? A well-earned Crafternoon for our students! π¨β¨
Congratulations to all of this weekβs award recipients. We are proud of your achievements and the positive example you set for others every day. π
