💼 It's SASS Appreciation Week – a big THANK YOU to our amazing support staff! 🙌

📚 Don’t forget our Book Week Parade on Tuesday – dress up and celebrate your favourite stories! 📖🎭

🍔 Join us for the Father’s Day BBQ lunch & Paper Plane Competition – fun and food for a great cause! 🍽️✈️ (BBQ lunch fundraiser supporting the SRC)

🏅 And on Friday, we’re celebrating at the Gold Assembly – see you there! 🥳

Well done to all of the students who took part in our Junior and Senior Spelling Bee competitions! 🐝📚
Every student gave it their very best, showing determination, confidence and a wonderful attitude.

A special congratulations to our two super spellers, Tadhg Dalby and Shanice Ribatika, who proudly represented Broken Hill North Public School at the regional round of the Premier’s Spelling Bee!

Competing against 32 other schools, Tadhg and Shanice showcased incredible skill, resilience and school spirit. They represented our school with pride and did an amazing job!

🎶 HEAR OUR VOICES 🎶

What an unforgettable week for some of our North students!

As members of the Mundi Far West Kids Choir, our 5 students joined young people from across the region to create, learn and perform together under the leadership of the inspiring Sarah Donelly. Their original song, “Hear Our Voices,” incorporated
Paakantyi language and reflected their families, stories and connection to Country. 🖤💛❤️

Performing on the Mundi Mundi Bash stage in front of thousands was an incredible achievement — and they even joined Troy Cassar-Daley and Shane Howard on stage and appeared LIVE on the TODAY show! 🎤 ⭐️

Despite some very challenging weather and long days, our students showed incredible resilience, enthusiasm and teamwork. They supported one another, embraced every opportunity and absolutely shone.

Northies, we couldn’t be prouder of you! 💫
You found your voices, shared your stories and represented our school beautifully! 💙🤍
