Sirius College One of Victoria's leading independent non-denominational schools with 6 campuses, educating students from Foundation to Year 12.

The 'Sirius' is the brightest star in the night sky and has been used as the symbol of illumination and light in many cultures throughout the history. The name 'Sirius' directly connects with our college’s educational vision of raising our students as stars with illuminating hearts and minds of all. The blue star in the logo (representing the "Sirius" star), symbolises our school’s educational philosophy, which is excellence in both academic and values education, resulting into a brighter future. The character reaching the blue star in the logo symbolizes our students who keep their future goals as high as the brightest star and who are dedicated and determined to achieve their future objectives for a successful career. The colours blue, white and dark blue are mainly used for our logo, due to the Sirius star's appearance of blue-white in colour in the night sky. As the Sirius College, we are dedicated to nurture the new generation of tomorrow. The motto “ Reach for the stars ” is used to emphasise our ultimate goal, which is educating, mentoring and motivating our students for reaching their future dreams.

Eastmeadows Campus Year 10 students brought together English, technology, creativity and teamwork in an exciting Shark Tank project! 🦈✨

Students developed innovative product ideas, designed 3D prototypes using Tinkercad, and transformed their digital designs into physical models with the support of Mr Jamie.

From persuasive pitches and catchy slogans to painting and presenting their prototypes, students took their ideas from concept to creation. 💡🎨

A fantastic hands-on opportunity to build communication, problem-solving, digital design and collaboration skills while bringing creative ideas to life! 👏💙

Eastmeadows Students Explore Creative Pathways at VCA Southbank 🎭🎓

Cast members from Eastmeadows Campus’ Aladdin Jr. recently enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) Southbank Campus at the University of Melbourne. 🎭✨

Students from Years 7–11 had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Campus, Professor Jane Davidson, Heads of Departments, academic staff and current university students. They explored state-of-the-art facilities, learned about pathways into the creative arts and asked questions about life and study at university. 🎓💡

The experience was an inspiring opportunity for our students to broaden their horizons and explore where their creativity could take them in the future. 🌟

From Peer Supporters to Peer Leaders 🌟💙

Their journey with the Peer Support Program began in Year 7, when they were among its first participants. In Year 10, they returned as Peer Leaders, continuing to support, encourage and mentor younger students ever since. 💙

🏆 MFC4SUDAN Crowned Hume Young Leader Group of the Year!

A huge congratulations to our Year 12 student leaders and prefects behind MFC4SUDAN, who have been named Hume City Council Youth Services’ 2026 Young Leader Group of the Year! 🏆

Throughout the year, the team demonstrated outstanding leadership, compassion and community spirit, raising thousands of dollars in humanitarian support for Sudan. Their efforts are a powerful example of young people turning empathy into meaningful action and making a difference beyond the school community. 💙

A special shout-out to Ayaan Abdullah, who was also recognised for his advocacy and made it to the finals for Young Advocacy Leader of the Year — an outstanding achievement in its own right! 👏

On Wednesday 16 September, students enjoyed an exciting morning of hands-on science activities and experiments, designed to spark curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking. 🧪🧠

Numeracy Week may have arrived a little later than usual this year, but the fun was well worth the wait! 🔢✨

Our Year 6 students took the lead, planning a range of maths games, puzzles and problem-solving activities for students across the school to enjoy. 🧩🧠

It was fantastic to see students thinking, collaborating and having fun with maths! 🎉
