🌟 Little People… BIG VOICES!!🌟

When our Year 3/4 students see a need for change, they ACT! 💪✨

Our students noticed that the back entrance to our school could be safer for our families and community. So, they decided to do something about it!

They wrote persuasive speeches, delivered them in person to Mayor Carly, and appealed to Council for a new pedestrian crossing and a reduced 40km/h speed limit near our back gate.

And guess what… THEIR VOICES WERE HEARD! 🎉👏

We have just received confirmation that a new pedestrian crossing will be installed AND the speed limit will be reduced! 🚸

We couldn’t be prouder of our students for using their voices, showing persistence and taking action to make a real difference in their community.

What an exciting milestone for our amazing Prep students as they celebrated 100 Days of School! Over the past 100 days, we've watched our youngest learners grow in confidence, curiosity and kindness. From learning letters and numbers to making new friends and discovering the joy of learning, they have achieved so much.

The day was filled with fun activities, creative challenges and plenty of smiles as we celebrated everything we've learned in our first 100 days together.

We are so proud of our Prep students and can't wait to see what the next 100 days will bring. Keep letting your light shine! ✨
