Students led with purpose, teachers contributed generously and the whole school came together to support MyCollege’s expansion and future growth.

Alhamdulillah, members of the My College leadership team had the opportunity to attend the CITE Conference, connecting with Islamic schools from across Australia, sharing ideas, learning from one another and reflecting on how we can continue to grow together.

Our Principal also took part in the ISSA Principals Conference, where principals and leaders came together to discuss important matters affecting Islamic schools and our shared responsibility towards the next generation.

While every school has its own journey, we share a common purpose: to nurture, educate and prepare the next generation of Australian Muslim leaders.

Our students are among our greatest amanah, and fulfilling that responsibility requires unity, collaboration and a willingness to continue learning from one another.

May Allah place barakah in our collective efforts and allow us to raise a generation that benefits their faith, their communities and wider society. Ameen.

We are proud to celebrate the strong achievements of our students in the latest NAPLAN results, reflecting their hard work and our continued commitment to high expectations and excellence in learning.

Small hands. Big hearts. An incredible $1,020 donation. 💙

This beautiful story began when two of our lower-primary students, Walid El Helwe and Khalid El Helwe, learned that MyCollege had purchased new land beside our current campus and needed the community’s support to secure it. Moved by what they heard, the two students quietly made a heartfelt decision: they wanted to help.

They began saving whatever they could, with one personal goal: to donate it towards the future of their school.

Together, these two young students saved and donated an astonishing $1,020.

When they presented their savings to our Principal, he was deeply moved.
Their generosity came not from having plenty, but from sincerely wanting to give for the sake of Allah and help build something that future generations could benefit from.

He thanked them wholeheartedly, made a special du‘a for them, and surprised each student with a gift card in appreciation of their remarkable gesture.

Their donation may have come from small hands, but it carried the weight of enormous hearts. May Allah accept their generosity, place endless barakah in their lives, and allow their contribution to become a lasting sadaqah for them. Ameen. 🤲

This is what it means to nurture a generation grounded in growth, mercy and excellence.

Empowering students to stay safe in the digital world.

Our students recently participated in an engaging Cyber Safety incursion presented by an Australian Federal Police officer. Through real-life examples, interactive discussions and practical advice, students learnt how to recognise online red flags, protect their personal information, stay safe while gaming and using social media, and make informed decisions online.

Building knowledgeable, responsible and confident digital citizens for the future.

🍋 Sweet success starts with a single squeeze!

Our students put their entrepreneurial skills into action through their very own lemonade stand, developing confidence, teamwork and real-world business experience.

More than just selling lemonade, this was a student-led fundraiser to help contribute towards our college expansion.
Alhamdulillah, through the generosity of our community and the hard work of our students, they raised an incredible $1,506.35.

A project that reflected our values of Growth through learning, Mercy through serving others, and Excellence through dedication and effort.
