Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We are beyond happy with how successful today was.
We have so many people to thank for coming together as a local community and celebrating BPS. From the ex students and staff to current ones, our guest speakers, stall vendors, sporting groups, community groups, Broadford Historical, emergency services, school council, parents club, the bands, the DJ, all the helpers and apologies to anyone we may have missed. Last but not least, we thank everyone who attended today. It was amazing to meet ex students who drove great distances and flew interstate to reunite for today.
A special shout out to our longest living student Ruth Davern ( nee Reid) and family for attending today. It was wonderful to meet you all.
You all made our special day even better than we could have hoped.

ONE MORE SLEEP and it's a busy day....
🎉The historical displays are looking fantastic with so many familiar names and events amongst it evoking memories and reflections on the good ol' days
🎉Yummy food is being prepared and stocked ready to go
🎉 Our vendor market stalls are ready to set up tomorrow , including plenty of gift ideas for Christmas eg Succulents, candles, dried flower arrangements
🎉The students are excited today putting the final touches to their class stalls
🎉 Local sporting groups will keep you entertained with activities
🎉The ponies are coming!!!
🎉 The Fire Brigade and SES are preparing their vehicles
🎉 Raffle and Spinning Wheel prizes are collected and waiting for you to win
🎉 The stage is all set for tunes from The Mitchell Shire Concert Band and The Skerricks to fill the air with fun
🎉 Our school leaders are ready to take you through the school for tours .... and that's just some of it!
We are so looking forward to seeing you all from 10am for the opening ceremony.
Ps Remember, most stalls and activities are cash only.
Please be advised no dogs allowed on site as per school policies.

On Saturday we will be pausing our celebrations at 11am for a minute's silence on the anniversary of the end of fighting on the Western Front on November 11th, 1918.
We pause to honour and acknowledge those who died and served while serving in wars, conflicts and peacemaking operations.
We acknowledge past students and families who have served and pay our respects.
We kindly ask for those attending to please be mindful at this time.
