Last Wednesday we celebrated members who completed another important milestone in their Toastmasters journey.

Toastmasters is about much more than public speaking. It’s about building confidence, strengthening communication and leadership skills, and learning to express your ideas with clarity and impact.

Congratulations to everyone who completed another level. Also thank you to the members who continue to support and encourage each other along the way.

This morning the theme for the meeting in the meeting room was “Surreal”.

We also learned a new word: ‘oneiric’, which is an adjective describing something that exists between reality and dream.

Here are a few snapshots from our regular roles meeting roles: toastmaster of the day, evaluators, speakers and timer.

We had the best time together! Thanks to Katarina Simic and Alana Brennan for organising such a great fun event with the best people.

Our new committee is now fully equipped to conquer the challenges of the new financial year. Of course, Table Topics, was part of the agenda for the night which sparked meaningful conversations. ... We also had a heartfelt speech delivered by Alicia Chapman, the club new president.

We will miss you, Sarah Walton! Come back soon :) We'll be thinking of you and can't wait to see you again.
