A full day of learning for us as our Kindergarten hosts Curious Me and educators from the Gold Coast/ Brisbane region. Today we explore how to protect children's right to play and design spaces to fulfil all children's needs.
Lots of inspiring conversations, information and collaborative reflection to unpack. 😁☘️📚

Our Kindergarten social committee and generous local businesses and families have put together a special Mother's Day Raffle Fundraiser. There are over $3250 worth of prizes for 3 lucky winners! Our Kindy would like to say thank you to the wonderful volunteer parents and grandparents that helped with our working bee today. Because of their hard work our sheds are now clean, organised and safe for the children to access during outdoor play. Our wall behind our vegetable gardens is now painted and ready for the collaborative mural that will be displayed later in the year. Other jobs were also completed and it was great to see families chatting and sharing their knowledge and strengths as this contributes to the success of our service.

Our Kindy would like to say a heartfelt thanks to the dedicated and very strong parent volunteers that helped to move all the soil from our vegetable patch. Due to your hard work, the children now have access to more suitable garden beds which will help to grow not only plants but their respect for the environment and living things.

Paradise Kids Australia Grief Explorers Program provides grief education and support for children who are experiencing loss from a death, illness, family separations or any big life changes.

The FREE five-session small group program runs each school term, helping children understand and cope with grief. 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 the 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 2025 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞.

📍 Location: the face-to-face Grief Support Program will take place in Southport.
