Our Echo children’s recent sewing project was super exciting! The children spent time pulling apart an old sewing machine kindly donated to us by a family. The children took the lead using screwdrivers and their hands to explore the machine and worked collaboratively as they discovered each of the different parts. 🛠️

This experience sparked so much curiosity, wonder and excitement. Reflecting on our philosophy that at Harmony Broadbeach all children are positioned as competent and capable learners and contributors 🧑🏻‍🔧👩🏽‍🔧

One book, Thousands of little listeners! 📖

Yesterday we took part in the national simultaneous story time. Reading ‘Luna Roo’ 🦘 at the same time as thousands of other little learners around the country.

What a special way to celebrate reading 💫

🪃 Immersing ourselves in indigenous learning with a visit from our friends at Paperbark. Our Eden and Willow children explored indigenous signs and animals whilst having their faces painted.

Paperbark visits our centre monthly and spends time with each across all studios, They do an amazing job at tailoring each session to different ages.

Our chef Joni helps make every birthday special with his amazing watermelon cake. We love sharing these special moments together, Creating a sense of belonging for our children 🍉
