The Logan Paediatrics Ward is looking extra colourful thanks to some awesome artwork from our students. 🌈 They’ve poured their hearts into creating pieces inspired by everything from nature to storytelling, and now it’s all up on the walls for everyone to enjoy.
Big thanks to the ward for letting us share their work – it’s so cool to see it brightening up the space! 💛

Play is vital for children under 8 years of age and is significant for their growth and development.
In 2026 we are celebrating 70 years of Under 8’s week celebrations. Play supports cognitive, physical, and social development enhancing problem solving and creativity. In Logan PAEDS we were able to celebrate Under 8’s week with play and celebrations through literacy, Bee bot technology, sensory hands on activities, art, musical instruments and block construction.
We had a blast in Under 8’s week and created a photo wall to share this with others. Well done everyone!

At QCHS Kindy, every session looks different. Teachers follow children’s interests, strengths, and ideas to create meaningful opportunities for play, learning, and connection while children are in hospital.
Across Kindy sessions, children might engage in storytelling, imaginative play, investigations, art, construction, music, sensory experiences or problem solving. Through these experiences, children are supported to build confidence, curiosity, communication, and positive attitudes towards learning.
Each Kindy session is thoughtfully adapted to meet the unique needs and interests of every child, ensuring learning remains engaging, responsive and full of discovery.

🎉 Under Eights Day Celebration at QCH School – Junior Campus 🎉
Our Junior Campus was filled with laughter as we celebrated Under Eights Day! 💛
Even though it was a rainy day outside 🌧️, it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of our young learners. The day was packed with fun indoor activities, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for the children to explore and play. From engaging games to imaginative experiences, it was wonderful to see their excitement and enthusiasm come to life. 🌈✨
A big thank you to our dedicated early years team who helped make the day so special.
Here’s to celebrating the magic of childhood—rain or shine! 💫

At our Toowoomba Yannanda program, students have been busy bringing their fashion design ideas to life through their recent Bag Design Project!
Throughout the project, students explored the design process from start to finish—developing ideas, creating patterns, selecting fabrics, sewing, problem-solving and reflecting on their progress along the way.
We are so proud of the effort and individuality shown in each design. Safe to say the future of Australian fashion is in good hands!
