Join us as we volunteer at the Budgie Bolt! 💪🤩

At Budgie Bolt, hundreds of Youngcare supporters will wheel, walk or run 5km in their budgie smugglers, Budgie Bolt merch and most extravagant red costume to raise funds and awareness for young Australians with complex physical disabilities. 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚩

Join QUT Big Lift as we head to rural Queensland to volunteer at the Goondiwindi Show! 🎡🐄🌾
No experience needed — just bring your energy, curiosity, and sense of adventure!

Calling all city kids, international students, and anyone keen to try something different — this is your chance to experience a classic rural Australian show while supporting a vibrant regional community. Come solo or bring a mate — either way, you’ll leave with new friendships, great stories, and memories that last. 🤝🍻👯

Spend the weekend volunteering alongside locals and fellow students while enjoying the lively atmosphere of livestock displays, show competitions, rides, and community festivities. It’s a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity to be part of one of regional Queensland’s most cherished events. Expect plenty of laughs, new experiences, and true country hospitality along the way. 🎶🔥

💰 Cost:
Member tickets: $80
Non-member tickets: $90
Collaboration with club member discount ticket: $70

📍 Where:
Goondiwindi Showgrounds, QLD

🚌 Arrival:
Arrive 7am, Friday, 1st May at QUT Gardens Point Campus (Outside Parliament House) for transport to Goondiwindi Showgrounds

🏠 Departure:
Depart Goondiwindi Showgrounds to arrive 1pm, 4th May (Public Holiday) at QUT Gardens Point Campus (Outside Parliament House)
