🍋🌿 Sensory fun in Nursery! 🌿🍋

Our Nursery children had an amazing time exploring this colourful sensory experience!

With great curiosity, they discovered fresh lemon, fragrant herbs, and blue water, using droppers to collect and release it 💧

A wonderful morning of exploring, discovering, and learning through play! ✨

🌧️💧 Urban Utilities Kindy Incursion 💧🌧️

Today, our Kindy children enjoyed a fun, interactive visit from Brodie at Urban Utilities!

Through music, dancing, storytelling, and plenty of laughs, Brodie introduced the children to the cheeky puppet Blocka, who loves getting up to mischief in our pipes!

With help from the Water Ranger, our Kindy children discovered more about where our water comes from, the water cycle, and how we can all help look after our waterways and pipes.

It was such an engaging way for our Kindy children to learn about water, sustainability, and caring for our environment 💚🌏

🚑 Mr Paramedic Incursion 🚑

Today, our Junior Kindy and Kindy children had a very special visit from Mia from Mr Paramedic! 🩺

Mia taught the children some very important life-saving skills, including what to do in an emergency, when and how to call 000, how to perform CPR, and how to safely place someone in the recovery position.

The children loved getting involved in the hands-on learning, practising CPR on mannequin dolls, and taking turns practising the recovery position with their friends.

A wonderful, engaging experience that helped our children learn about staying calm, getting help, and what they can do in an emergency 🚑👏

Today was a very special day as we released our beautiful butterflies into the big, wide world!

Our little learners loved watching them take flight and saying goodbye after caring for them through their incredible life cycle.

Two of our chrysalises hatched into beautiful butterflies, giving the children the opportunity to witness an incredible part of the butterfly life cycle.

What a special learning experience and a wonderful reminder of the beauty of nature!

From this week, our little learners are watching caterpillars grow and transform into beautiful butterflies while exploring the butterfly life cycle through hands-on learning.

We can’t wait to witness the magic together!

On Monday, we enjoyed another wonderful Intergenerational Play Session!
